Terms of Service
Effective date: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SpoolDeck’s website and print-production software (together, the “Service”), provided by SpoolDeck (“SpoolDeck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
SpoolDeck is software for running a 3D-print shop — including catalog and product management, a print-job queue, cost and margin tracking, and materials tracking. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.
Accounts and your responsibilities
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware or overloading our systems.
- Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service as your own.
Plans and billing
The Service offers a free plan that includes up to 2 printers and 25 orders per month, with no payment required. We also offer paid plans with additional capabilities.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees for that plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis for the billing cycle you choose (for example, monthly or annually) and renew automatically at the end of each cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future charges, and your paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are generally non-refundable. We may change our prices, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect you before they take effect.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by SpoolDeck and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Your data is yours. You retain all rights to the shop, product, order, and other content you put into the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content so we can operate the Service for you.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figures it produces (such as cost, margin, or estimated dates) will be accurate for your particular circumstances. You are responsible for how you use the Service’s output.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpoolDeck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SpoolDeck operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with those laws.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be made clear on this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
