How it works
Promise dates from the real queue.
A single print’s duration isn’t a ship date. What matters is the total work ahead of it and how many hours a day your printers actually run.
total hours = jobs × avg print time
working days = ⌈ total hours ÷ working hours per day ⌉
Worked example. 8 jobs at 5 h each is 40 print-hours. Running 8 h a day, that’s ⌈40 ÷ 8⌉ = 5 working days. The calculator adds 5 weekdays to today (skipping weekends) to land on a ready-to-ship date.
Why honest ETAs matter. Over-promising is how shops end up with angry customers and rushed, failed prints. A date built from your real queue is one you can keep.

When will my 3D print be done?
Multiply how many jobs are ahead of it by the average print time to get total print hours, divide by how many hours a day you actually run prints, and round up to whole days. That’s your working-day estimate before it’s ready to ship.
How does queue depth affect the date?
Every job ahead in the queue pushes your print later. A print that takes 5 hours can still be days away if there are ten jobs in front of it — which is exactly why a promised date should reflect the queue, not just one print’s duration.
How are working days counted?
This estimate counts Monday–Friday as working days and skips weekends. It doesn’t know your holidays, so treat it as a realistic floor and pad for anything unusual.
